Tales of a wayward English garden and its weary guardian ...
Lovely pictures!
Thanks Daniela. I grabbed the short time the sun was out ... grey and gloomy now !
Nice. I especially like the views through the palm fronds. Don't be a Hippie
Thanks Susie . Those hippies are shrivelling fast !
Oh, I love it! Especially the first photos of the Palm fronds.
Thankyou Plantpostings. The sun was just right, very low and mellow.
I love the pic of the tan-coloured grass seed heads. Beautiful composition and depth of field.
Hi catherine, thanks for your comments. The grass is Molinea, my absolute favourite. It is very delicate with tall, fine stems topped by feathery seedheads. It looks great at the front of borders so you can view other plants through it.
Wow so many wonderful colours! That shrub Cotinus coggygria is beautiful. And I like the grass also. Looks like winter is still far away :-)
Hi Stephanie, no snow as yet, although it has fallen further North in the uk.
so glad for you!
You've got some fabulous autumn interest in your garden. We've snow on the hills but none has fallen here in the garden yet.
Thanks Rosie. Where are you ? We have no snow yet but I know they have had some further North. We are in Lincolnshire.
Thanks for visiting and reading. I really welcome comments and have learned much from them, over the years of leaning over the virtual garden gate ...
