In my last garden my experience was that if the plant died the label survived - and vice versa. This produced a graveyard of markers commemorating the dear departed even when the (unlabeled) plants around were growing lustily. You have at least convinced me that the problem was not merely due to a shortage of labels...Amy@SmallSunnyGardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490564566463354419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7249587176933768298.post-3205110883529492112013-10-15T05:47:24.664-07:002013-10-15T05:47:24.664-07:00Hi Lyn, glad I made you giggle ! Not so bad in pots unless a grandchild changes them all around.<br />Did you know hairspray will take marker off the old tags? Everyone has their own system, as long as you can read your own tags. :-)Lavender Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03403871499758144022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7249587176933768298.post-21451187456963825712013-10-05T04:56:28.712-07:002013-10-05T04:56:28.712-07:00The copper ones look sooo good Diana ! I hear Bob Flowerdew advising us to clean our labels in winter and come spring, mine all have 4 different names on them and I play hunt the right name for the plant, or add a fifth name in the absence of a correct label. I rather like my old labels; they are full of memories. Some of them belonged to my aunt and to see her writing on them always brings back happy memories of her and her garden.
